Anyone used the above its the 11ft 1.75t/c version.
Ive been offerd one from a friend of a friend, hes used it twice and in very good condition . He wants £30 for it, but as its not the weather to test it wondered if it was any good ? |

I've got the 12ft 1.75tc and the 1.5tc . It's a slightly heavy blank (the 11ft obviously is lighter) but paired with 8-10lb line will have any barbel that swims inlanded under 5 minutes. I've caught several doubles as well as carp on mine and it handled them admirably. I use a Shimano Exage 4000RA on the1.75tc, balances superbly

Paul and Paul, thanks very much for that, love to know where the doubles have come from tho as ive been after one for 3 years now .
Not quite used to the site yet so learning about the reveiws page etc.. |

Thats one of the rods I use but in the 12 foot version. It is an excellent rod in IMHO. Have taken a number of barbel into doubles using both the 1.75 T/C section and the glass quivers. If your about on Sunday when we meet up then you can use it for a bit to see if you like it or not. Cheers Lewis

£30!!!!! Buy It! I got the 12' version this year and really like it.I'm beginning to realise it's limitations though.Depends what size of river you fish and when in the year (floods etc) really???!!!
 but for £30 if you're starting out then it'll be brilliant value for money!!! Tight Lines!!!! Simon |
