Rod rest thread size |
Lead | |
|
Hi, I need to know what the thread size is on a rod rest if anyone can help. I have had the idea of getting a cheap baking tray from tk or tescos and drilling
a hole in the middle and putting a botlt through with a nut on the underside and a little bit of thread left sticking out so I can screw it onto a bank stick,
hey-ho a little table to put drinks etc on. I'm fed up of cans and mugs etc. rolling down the bank. So far i have bought a 9mm and a 10mm bolt but neither
fit into a bank stick so i'm assuming that it must be an old whitworth thread, any ideas please?
Thanks Haydn |

Haven't got my thread gauges with me at home this weekend but why don't you pop along with a bank stick into your local hardware store and you can sort
it that way mate?
Alternatively there is the plastic bait waiters? Cheers Never give up - There's always tomorrow! |
