I think barbeltastic is way out on this one, I think 16.12 by October 31st.
But it realy does depend on the fishes length and build so show us the pictures. Anne

I am sorry but cannot publish the photo as it might give the swim and area away.The fish in question weighed 14lbs 12 oz which for a bristol avon fish this
time of the year is a very big fish indeed.

depending on certain factors, such as health and age of the individual, amount and type of bait going in, number of times it gets caught etc., I reckon it
could easily be 18lbs by the end of the season :-)

Doesnt always stack up that way... A mate had a 13.10 last summer, which we couldnt wait to see till after christmas, when it weighed 14.01 so not quite the
increase we expected.
The potential is exciting all the same, other examples are 14+ fish from last winter currently weighing in at <11, and another one which I caught loads of times at 12 something which was always 14+ when anyone else had it! A |
