Had a few hours this evening,small chubb first chuck then a nice Barbel to 9.15,tried holding my scales higher but it wouldn't work,the search for my first
double goes on.....
On a second note,Just got my amalgamation night permit through,was wondering if anyone is looking for a night fishing buddy ??? It gets pretty grim in the evenings on your own and I've just moved down this way from the north (in other words,I've no fishing mates and I'm scared of the dark) drop us a pm if interested... Seemed to come together for me tonight...fished from 9pm til 2 this morning.First chuck had a 5lb bream.About an hour later a barbel for 9.14.Then another a
bit later on my other rod for 7.13. Fairly hotly followed by the highlight of the evening...A beautiful barbel of 11.14 and one more next chuck for 6.6!!! Of
course I lost one next cast too...Something had to go wrong,didn't it??!!!
 and
then another bream for about 4lb at just before 2 o'clock...Any how...Nice to get on a few fish
Here she is at 11lb 14oz....
