Small baitdroppers. |

Is there any smaller/lighter baitdroppers than small Symo one. I find it too heavy and big for my small river fishing. Thamesley did make a plastic one but
they are I believe not made anymore.

Have a look at the fox versions. I believe a few people have had problems though with the 'door' falling off. I personally have not had this problem
and thus rate them.

Wychwood do some small ones, though did not look to closly, as are too small for my needs.
Also, someone pointed out that design faults, such as connections breaking and doors falling off 'might' make sure you need to buy them on a semi-regular basis. |

Try the Fred Crouch one, small and excellent design.

Quite often find them on ebay:
Bought quite a few in the past - a quick coat with paint if they are too shiney. These are 1.5 to 4 inches in diameter. Think the price was around £6 for the whole set - including postage. Cheers Bob |

Fred Crouch droppers for me too; however finding them appears to be an issue over the last year or two. Far and away the best small dropper IMHO and I've
tried a few. I also had problems with the fox droppers in that the doors came off to easily

the rumours that i use a quality street tin are false but on a serious note the fred crouch ones looked good and if you shop around the thamesly ones do crop
up i got 4 from a small tackle shop out in the fens the guy couldn`t believe i wanted them brilliant though on smaller waters

I had that big 4" one on the far right of the picture. It cracked off on the first cast and i watched my 6 quid float to the bottom of the Severn:(
