Well done to everyone that's caught. I've had two sessions and failed with any fish what so ever! I am trying new waters this year in this area so not
giving up yet or ever!!! I want to break my pb of 11' 2". And I'm told i should be able. Early days. Tight lines all.

Had a beautiful 14-6 from Felmersham last night. Hate to think how big it will be in October or November. Paul had to land it as I was struggling to get
through the vegetation. Saw a couple of anglers downstream on the opposite bank. Was it any of you boys?

Good result! Myself and Harrychub had a couple of hours there on Tuesday evening without much action.. Shame VAC gave it up - I reckon there's untapped
potential if someone's prepared to put the hours in..

Went for a three hour session early evening today and caught a Barbel of around 6 pounds. Where I fished the river was much clearer than a few days ago, to the
extent that I was able to watch a small group of Barbel mopping up my feed. Predictably the one I caught was the smallest one, but well worth it anyway.
It's raining in the Bedford area now but probably not enough to make a great deal of difference to the river.

Managed to get out for a few hours yesterday, the rain was lashing down, there was fair auld breeze blowing and I left the waterproof trousers in the boot!!
during the deluge the rod wrapped around and on the end was a lovely barbel of 12-07, my first ever barbel, I'm still smiling now. I'll attempt to put
the photo in the gallery, I'll be the fella with the slightly demented smile.

Thanks Harry, lady luck was definitely smiling on me, I would of been delighted with a 2 or 3lber, I still can't believe it. I followed the advice of the
handling guide, and with one powerful flick of the tail, she was gone.... a day I will never forget.
