Blankingbloke - those Chub are enormous! I would gladly sacrifice my river section to actually get one of those on the bank they were that big! As for the car
safety, it's the same all over these days, and without secure parking I could not rest easy when I fished at Radwell. Now things seem to be quieter with
few problems if any last year, but not having to worry about that makes life easier. There is a gated section at Felmersham where you could park your car when
Shefford had the stretch now owned by Verulam, and as far as I know that is still used - it just means you need a Verulam ticket which is the better bit of the
Stretch anyway.

Cheers Drennans--no need to pm you mate been fishing all round that area since I was a pup.As for parking show me a safe bit of open road nowadays (sad isn,t
it) All clubs really need secure parking and even then nowhere,s 100%. There,s no problem with me as only a few of us go together and if it,s dodgy i.e
Radwell, Felmersham, my missus or son drops us off and collects us in my transit. Cheers anyhow + tight lines Harry.

Sorry Drennans. Paul and I have fished the stretch on and off for quite a while now but not realised it was syndicate water. The farmer gave us permission to
go there anytime. We have never seen anyone there before. My PB of 16-4 came from that very stretch.

16-4, blimey Simone it must be something in your pheromones!
Did Paul manage a double in the end last season? Regards parking, I always used to use the Shefford car park for that end of Felmersham or the farm track or side of the road for the other end and never had any troubles. I don't think with the exception of a certain large Sharnbrook car park there have ever really been any real damage hot spots, its just a lottery if your parked in the wrong place at the wrong time, having said that there were very few incidents last season nowhere near enough to put me off parking anywhere.

Hope you have a great start Paul--First week of last season was good for me too--didn,t manage one that quick though. On the Thames myself on a new stretch for
me cum midnight and apparantly I,m more likely to hit a carp than barbel--won,t be complaining at that though
Be back on the ouse in the week. ATB-Harry.

Had a walk along the river today, looks really good. Flowing quite strongly for this time of year and not too much weed growth at the moment.
Good luck to all that venture out at the begining of the week. Regards Phil

Hi All
Phil, I didn't think luck had anything to do with it, I thought it was all skill, which is why I blank so often. Harry don't you mean tomorrow morning? TIGHT LINES ONE AND ALL Colin |

Hi Colin,
How's it going? Our friend Harry is on the banks of a `popular stretch' at this very moment - chomping at the bit! He swore blind he'd wait 'til midnight before the start of another monumental blank.. Declan |

chuffed my hemp pre-baiting for the last couple of weeks has borne fruit. Off to get some more brownie points now as I need to get out again soon. Tight
