Anyone know of a guy who drives an Audi 1.9 tdi estate in white he is fishing down Lacock somewhere tonight looked for him but could not find him reported him
to the EA. My mate spotted him walking downstream with his kit he's bald apparently if that helps.....

Hope you informed the club(AA) they should revoke his pass and inform the EA no doubting he's serial close season fishing,anyone who fishes knows the
rules,he should be shopped....

Shippo, contact the police and they can do a PNC check on it. They wont give you the details but they will register your call with the EA for future ref.

hi i will be fishing on the avon somewhere between chippenham and bath... on a amalgamated stretch for the first time....
i was wondering if any of you koowledgeable folks could recomend a good stretch for barbel beginers?? Have been told that lacock is a good place to start...any ideas??? |

Lacock,Avoncliffe,Limpley stoke.... Lacock being probably the buisiest and probably a good starting point but its a bit of a merry go round somedays with 15
anglers fishing 20 swims in rotation lol watch for that first day..........The bigger fish falling around AC and Limpley but a realistic chance of a good
double at Lacock..
Also the Chippenham ticket (from Premier angling) if your that way is a good patch above Chippenham... |

Wow barbelers,only about 48 hours to go!
I,m off to the coast for a couple of days,so thankfully i will miss the frantic first day.However,as i only live 10 mins away from Lacock you can guess what im going to be doing the moment i get back on Thursday.......... Good luck all & i will see you on the bank.............

cheers for the advice Shippo... went to have a look at Lacock abbeyfields this evening ...very nice looking indead ..difficult to land fish though maybe??
Saw some huge barbel under a tree just 20 yards from bridge...Also took a look at limpey stoke ..by the weir ..again looked very nice..not sure where to go now??.. |

Out early this morning to beat the rush our traffic had 3 barbs only small ones biggest about 6lbs and 5 chub to about 4 pounds am now going to sleep in the
garden.

portishead, they're £45 now but i paid £40 for mine because i bought it before the end of march, now the season has started i think you will have to pay
