i've been fishing the bristol avon for over 40 years now and june the 16th is still as special as it's always been...
have booked a week off work for the 2nd week of the season (couldn't get the first week) but i will be out on the 16th as luckily enough it's a monday and my day off.. tight lines to all the BA fishers and good luck for the coming season.. |

 I like to have goals each season but this year i cant decide whether
to go for numbers or to try and search out the 'monster' we all know is out there

Good luck to all; i look like being elsewhere for most of this season as I can't get on a bit of the BA that fires my rockets - but i'll pop in to say
hi from time to time. She's a magnificent river, and it will be good to see a few of those back-end 14s from last year in a few months time!

Hope to bump into a few of you this season. I'm targetting a new (to me at least) stretch and can't wait to start exploring the potential. Had a walk
along it today and was salivating over some of the swims.

.will be on the lower avon after the

Well good luck to all on the first week as ill be out from the 23rd and onwards as in Spain on the 15th of June for a weeks cat fishing hoping to get a 100lb
plus fish well hoping and a lot of hoping at that ..

Wishing a happy new season to one and all. Like the rest of you I am just mad for it.!!!! trying out a new Stretch (along with the usual haunts) which shows
much promise, and after a poor year last year I am ever hopeful.

GOOD LUCK FOR THE SEASON CHAPS!!!!!
Will spending my season at lacock and limpey stoke.I went to limpey today to have a look(only fished it once b4). How do you get to the river downstream to the brigde,i climbed a gate with spikes and a stile one end of the gate,but there is a electric fence on the other side of the field.Is that the right way cause i thought i might be tresspassing.Mext to the canal i notice a farm track but surley that aint the way..please help tah tom |

Hi all
Starting to get exited now and looking forward to my second season on the BA. Can't wait to explore new stretches and swims after watching the fish in the closed season. Also looking forward to meeting alot of you chaps again and fingers crossed beating my PB. Roll on next Sunday night 12.00am.
