Billy Big Boilies wrote: Steve, I'd help you if I could, but the three remaining sets of articles given to me by the editorial staff of Angling at the time (I gave a fourth set away to someone who had helped me out with a house-move several years ago) are buried in boxes and stored away somewhere. There is a fifth,"Angling" mahseer article, 'Return To The Ganges', published in late 1980 (I think) that would complete the set. I remember writing the thing in Delhi, hours after getting off a train from the Ganges in late September 1980, then driving it over to the Mag's editors in Windsor a few days later after flying back to Britain. The Editor was after another series of articles from me then, too - about the summer I had spent trout-fishing in Kashmir before hitting the Ganges. He didn't get it.

No worries Paul, I (and I'm sure most of us) know that "it's in a box in the loft / cellar / garage / spare room" feeling. Any other offers
gentlemen? Best wishes, Steve

I know a Shropshire chap who almost certainly has them. I'm speaking to him tomorrow and seeing him on Sunday. If he's got them, i'll take
copies and (if the auhor is in agreement) make some copies for discerning readers. No promises, mind, he's even less reliable than me, but i'll try.

And whilst you're at it, Jon, ask your Shropshire man to look through his 1978 Angling magazines. He'll find in one of them an article, "The
Wallis Centre Pin Cast", an illustrated how-to featuring a Steve Hillage haired and woollen-hatted earlier me. I still have the hair, but the hat's
since gone synthetic fleece and worn only in freezing weather these days (promise).
