Hi lads now summer is here and soon the 16 th just wondering whats on your feet etc. Did use waders a few seasons ago but cracked and split. Use field boats in
winter but too hot for summer. i do some times roam about till i find the barbel . So what do you have on your feet in the summer

Dry weather on billiard-table banks with no wading or paddling for returning fish required: trainers.
Wet weather, less-regular banks, some very shallow paddling required: lightweight, waterproof, GoreTex walking boots. Wet weather plus some paddling: cheap, no-name wellies. Wading for trotting / freelining: pair of breathable stocking-foot chest waders with separate felt-soled and metal-studded wading boots. |

I've got some great Rohan hiking boots, they do everything I want & at the end of a long day my feet feel fine..

I wear black slip on leather shoes,white socks,shell suit tracky bottoms which are riding up me ankles and me old faithful pink muscle vest.

Crocs!!!
Actually, I normally wear a very good quality pair of soft leather hiking boots summer and winter, just without the extra thermal socks in summer.

Wellies or jellies, (Crocs are great for wading in the summer when wearing shorts). I had my trainers on at the lake today but drove home in my crocs.
They look %@%* but they're mega comfy. Mine are black with a shark on one and a pirate on the other.

Always wear walking shoes with socks and trousers or tracksuit bottoms, after once wearing shorts, trainers and no socks, i must have had 50 friggin mozzy
bites that night around the ankles

Another vote for Crocs. Clearly unsuitable for normal fishing conditions but are so comfy and make great bivvy slippers, can be used for wading out on gravel
in the summer and are ideal for driving home in after you've trudged across a muddy field in ya boots. Very practical, to clean - simply run under the
tap.
