Hi,
A question for the members about the coarse close season. Do you have the same rules as the Stockport Fed or is the river completely closed unless fishing with fly during the coarse close season ? Just wondering as I saw some lads fishing with worm from the BA bank on Saturday. Dave |

At least we know what they look like and we can thus point out the merits of resting the river during the close season when we see them. I will be doing so
anyway. I'm sure they're probably reading this and it doesn't, imho, look like a wind-up.
Btw, he looks more like a geriatric Shakin Stevens than Fonz

JUST COME BACK FROM A WALK ON BA STRECH OF THE RIVER FOUND 2 ANGLERS FISHING IN THE PARK IN TWO DIFERENT SPOTS.
WALKED ON BA POND FOUND 8 ANGLERS FISHING I THOUGHT THIS WATER WAS SHUT TILL THE 16TH I ASKED FOR CARDS NONE TO BE FOUND, DID THEY HAVE A LICENCE. THATS ANY BODYS GUESS.TO MANY TO CHUCK OFF ON A BETTER NOTE SPOTED 3 LARGE BARBEL ABOUT TO SPAWN THIS WAS EARLY THIS WEEK. A DISGRUNTLED OILMAN |
