Great thread this, very informative, although I have been looking through the pages there is one question I would like to ask that I could not see posted
before so excuse me if it has been asked already.
Q, when its pouring with rain can the KK be used inside a bivvy as this is a situation that is likely to materialise with our inclement weather, if not I would imagine it limits its use to heating water only if you can get the fire going in the rain. Thanks, I am getting close to buying one but

The KK is definitely NOT bivvy friendly barbster, even without a groundsheet i would no way use one in a bivvy, i am sure they are good fun and do the job but
i will stick with my gas bottle the subject of cooking in a bivvy was mentioned earlier in the thread.
