Yes had some good Barbel on Korda iq , great in clear water.
But still think if you find the right Braid you are better off using Braid.
Only my point of view.

thanks guys. i think i may try and get hold of some power plus to try then.
i fish 2 rods most of the time so i can try it on one and iq on the other. i like the korda and have found it to be stong but just didnt know if i am wasting money on it. i caught a fair few fish on the stripteze but i had no confidence in the presentation. i found that it would retain its coiled shape of the roll so i tried steaming it straight but i didnt make a great difference. |

Fluoro all the way for me, try the Drennan or Whychwood fly leader,£5/6 for 50mtrs, both excellent and also X-line, £20 for 600mtrs, good stuff and catches me
a lot of fish, I generally use the 12lb for hooklenghts.

what about the fox illusion flurocarbon line. i can get a 300 mtr roll for £20. would that be any good for hooklinks.

not used illusion myself david,,certainly would'nt hurt to try it m8.
as you say you normally fish two rods so maybe worth comparing along side the iq. Jay |

Not particularly a fan of fluoros and seen a few but have used Illusion as a main line and hooklength without any losses. Cheers Bob |
