Feel completely drained after watching my team Cambridge somehow claw back 2 goals in last 15mins against Burton last night to level the first leg at 2-2. Leagues are about consistancy, not a knock out competition ! How can a team who have finished miles off the pace in 6th truely warrant a place in the league above ? It's an insult to the teams who finish 3rd and sometimes a dozen or more points above them ! They are exciting yes, but really all they are is another revenue generating exercise ! The situation in Rugby Union is even worse ! You can finish top and not even win The Premiership due to a @#@+-eyed play off system ! Crazy ! Couple that with being able to get a 'try scoring' Bonus and a 'losing bonus', whereby a team winning more games than the others can still finish 3rd, a major sort out is needed ! For a club only formed in 2002 when Wimbledon became MK Dons, they have done very well. Regular crowds of 2000+ at Kingstonians ground. Fully deserved if they win today. Cheering on my other local West London club
