Hi,
Been getting into my river fishing with a fair bit of chubbing and roach fishing but looking to have a good bash at a few barbel.
From what i have heard and read I would love a go at catching one or two!
Anyway with living in Suffolk there aint really any barbel close by.... Im wondering if anyone can give me a few pointers.
I dont mind traveling for a day session or maybe a couple of days with the night in between. Ive had a bit of a search of the web and my options seem to be the Ouse or Lea as the Suffolk Stour appears to be low stocked?
Not to bothered about size just yet, but somewhere i could maybe catch would be good to start the learning process!
Any ideas for stretches/clubs to try would be great.
Thanks James
