Hello all you Avon Anglers,
I hope this closed season is being kind to you and that you are not being driven to insanity by not being able to get out. Are there plans afoot to have a pre-season get together at all? Hows about a Ringwood round - a bite to eat follwed by a few pubs? Would be nice to see everyone again. Regards, Damian

The Close Season is flying for me too , Doing a fair bit of fluff flinging and stocking up with bits for the coming season . Got to respool as john said and
sort me kit out properly soon , then if it ever stops raining id like to do a bit of fish spotting
 . Gonna try and attend one or two work parties aswell.Put
my name down for the pre season social too, hope your all well and look forward to catching up soon

hi all . i have booked up the compound on the 6th and 7th of august and was looking for a fishing buddy to go with, as seems a shame to pay 140pound to fish
it on my own, have fished it last year and had barbel to 14lb10oz, but i am no expert, so if you fancy a bit of a laugh, dont mind if you have never been
barbel fishing before as will show you wot i know,as we all have to start somewhere, but if you have be nice to share some info. let me know asap. all the best
