fished 4pm till 10.30pm yesterday loads of taps and bang's but no fish ,i shortened the hair down about 7pm to see if i could snare one of them taps and
had myself a chub 4 plus and a barb at 9.30pm at 10lb 8oz well chuffed not the whacker i wanted but my first febuary barbel and a double as well bring's my
total up to 7 doubles for the season roll on next weekend i'm off for a week
ps ian got some barbel paste for ya mate

No mate not this weekend i am going on the Itchen Grayling fishing Sat and the Test doing the same on Sunday, will be good to get a float on again.
The rest of the season will be spent going after a big girl as i still have 5 days holiday i have to use before the end of March.

,you seemed a bit shocked about the length of my hook length's it doe's work
though you picked a hard stretch to turn up mate but it is worth the time if your willing to wait biggest problem is trying to pin them into the swim they move
round a bit, will been down there again on sunday mate if your around will have a chat
