Can anyone recommend some flavourings to add to meat or maggots which is available in the shops, have tried the usual stuff ie curry powder and tumeric
etc but didnt feel it made much difference............Cheers

Had some good catches by flavouring my maggots with cream cajouser by nutrabaits.Costs about a fiver.

To be honest, I think meat and maggots (along with worms, bread etc) carry plenty of flavour of themselves.
Remember that just because we can't smell something, doesn't mean the fish can't. Amino acid trails, for example, are given off by maggots/worms, which the fish home in on in light or dark. Having caught equally on flavoured/unflavoured; day or night, I rarely bother to flavour now. The most important thing is to put the bait where the fish are. Especially if you're building a swim with particles. Put a little hemp in the feeder with the maggots for more of a flavour trail. |

i always used to spray my maggots with hemp oil when using them for barbel, only problem is the bream find it irrisistable too....j.w

I have been adding Garlic Infused Olive Oil (£2 from Morrisons) to liquidized bread for chub.

I nearly always use Trigga on meat. I precut the meat, spray with Trigga and freeze.

Im goin to experiment this year and make my own boilies, i have some old protein powder which is out of date and packed full of amino acids, so watch this
