Make me wonder when the barbel fishing is off the boil, folk turn to the roach as if they are a less of a challenge...believe me they are not, to call yourself
a decent angler you have have had to have caught a 2lb roach.
These fish IMO are the ultimate challenge, I have spent many an hour searching for these fish on the BA , and I have seen roach in excess of 4lb in a shoal that the smallest fish was in excess of 2lb...but present a bait to them?? Wouldnt have it any other way though.
