Being a chef I have access to a lot of raw ingredients that I think would make effective barbel baits if the flavour was used in boilies or paste of some description. The trouble is I have absolutely no knowledge of making my own bait. With the close season now upon us I have plenty of spare time on my days off to experiment.
Can anybody give me some advice on how to go about it please?
What sort of quantities would I need to start with ie; base mix etc?
How long would I cook them for?
Once the base mix is done, how much flavour do I need to add?
Any help or suggestions will be gratefully recieved.
