Hi Folks.
How would you, where would you, fish this swim in this flood 
as you can see I have had a go.
Thought it would be good to hear others thoughts.

Crikey that looks rough!Am I right in saying there's a weir upstream?If I had to fish that swim I'd go for a lump of curried meat well short of that
far bank flow,if i had a choice i wouldn't fish it at all, I'd drop downstream and find some slacker water in a deep hole behind an overhanging
tree!!

Yes it was rough in the middle  I only fished it for about an hour, there
is a fairly big slack below where I was. just thought I`d chuck a bait at, i 19 -20 just to see if there was anything there.
didn`t catch on that day but I have had one there at normal river level during the summer months. Regards. mr edd.

I would fish from J10-J20.
Casting to the far banks would mean bites would be hard to register and you would get obstructions caught up in the line. People often neglect to fish right under the rod tip, this is sometimes the best place. What the hell is that metal contraption in the bottom right hand corner? |

Hi devilfish.
The stuff in the bottom right corner is dead Japanese knotweed stems after the floods have bent them over. Rainman. Forgot to say there is a wier upstream about a mile or so. Regards. mr edd.

If i fished it anything like i normally do my loose feed would be in 21 O and my baited rig would be in B 2.
