John
If your targeting Morton bridge your much better off being in Northallerton club as Stocktons water is on the wrong bank. |

Hi all
i ventured out lower swale Never fished the swale that high before but thought done the drive ill have a few chucks, there was a few other anglers as daft as me then, met a lad had not seen since left school,hi gavin, keep in touch,he left as i was about to fish.I BLANKED BUT GAVE IT AGO,met 3 other sound lads, jeff ,garry and tom jeff caught 2 small barbel which were about half a pound, the future barbel look good,as it was the first barbel of the season he openend a bottle of champagne, which i thought was a good touch, and kindly excepted a cup full. Was a really good day out even though never got much fishing done or caught out. Good hunting lads all the best for the new season phil |

Jeff had a 6lb 3oz later on before he left. I fished where he and Gary had been and snicked out a 6lb 15oz: ![]() One of these days I'll fish Topcliffe when it's not flooded! R. |
