Hi men ,
If you look at the articals page , linked at the top , you will find " fishing " type story,s , along with technical articals . I pointed out in an earlyier post that this was BFW version of a mag , and very underused . I am no writter , but have put two articals together.Wether it would be to much of a work load on Paul to keep updateing a diary type of page , im not sure , but a bi-monthly update , gives 6 new articals per year , not bad eh?. I also think with the gathering pace of BFW regarding local meetings , someone will pop up with the idear of a dedicated mag , but untill then I read the articals , but im sure people are missing out . I liked your articles mate, and found them rather enlightening. Have considered writing my own when I have something to babble on about

I also really liked your article, it made me want to go fishing now! Unfortunately I have to wait for 2 months and 4 1/2 days to try and catch a barbel!

Thanks men ,
Just an average angler , writting about situations that barbel fishing put me in . Im more lucky than most , as my wife is barbel mad , we both love more than catching fish , just being there is a bonus on sunrises , and sets .watching a barn owl can make up for struggling when fishing , and we see wildlife that my mates would never see tucked up in bed !!!, its their loss, they have missed out . We also end up haveing saga,s insted of normal trips , which make good storys Hatter |

Yes, as Mark (hatterbarbel) said there's some good stuff in the articles section - there are two diaries, one by Stewart Bloor and the other by Nick Coulthurst, each of which have not been kept up to date, although I do believe Stewart's is on his own web site.
Don't wish to be negative but over the last few years things have changed in the respect that less and less is now reported about catches due to increasing interest by those, let us say, often after quick answers. I know of several barbel fishing diaries which were kept up to date last season, some on another barbel site in the form of threads, and one on a personal site. Unfortunately these were read avidly by lurkers, judging by the 'page views' figures, and it all became too much info.............. So diaries, although a 'nice' idea maybe not so good. paul4 |

Hi men ,
Totaly agree with Paul , pehaps not a good idear if you do not want your fishing to suffer. Up-todate articals are another thing, not nameing bits of water helps , and in fact it makes little diffrence to a tale if you only name the river . Hatter |
