i caught one five ins some ten years ago on hot dog sausage on size 8 hook,from middlesex coln, what a little gem, i was thrilled at catching that
little barbel as i was my pb. js...

i have had a few on the middx colne about 4oz's,size 8 hook and 14ml pellet,mine was a gudgon size.

well it cracks me up too ,the hair maybe nearly gone ,the clothes sence wise not too much has changed ,infact i think that jacket lurkes at the back of a
cubard someware but that smile and joyous feeling of having caught something (anything really) is as big and as strong as ever.

My smallest was from the Thames catching livebait for pike at Penton Hook between the marina and the middle weir on my boat. Caught on maggot feeder, about 8
ounces; it leapt all over the place and jumped out almost into the boat...
And no, before anyone asks; it went back unscathed... |

I caught my personal least last Summer from the Teme....
....in full flood, rod almost at full compression from the flow, never saw the bite !!! Barbel of about 6-8ozs on double 14mm Grubber boilies and paste wrap : ) Paul |
