Like a lot of other posters here I enjoy walking in the countryside along with fishing.
I am after a decent wading staff that doubles also as a walking staff and am thinking of having a bespoke one made with a thread to accept my Canon DSLR so I can use it as a monopod as and when needs be.
Does anyone know of a stick maker who might be able to craft something like this for me?
Also, I am 6 foot 2 so it would need to be slightly longer than normal. I know Chris Ponsford has been seen in the past sporting a wading staff and he isn't vertically challenged either so I assume unless Chris made his own (quite possible) that the length of staff I am after is available
