I am sure it is a pretty good camera, if the S5600 is anything to go by. You only have to look at THIS page to see that the S5600, in the right hands, is capable of some stunning images.

my s5000 is 3 years old and still working well. I think the s5700 would be great assuming that it's a new model, because if it's technologically similar to mine then there probably will be camera with better technology.

Dads got the s6500 and it takes some nice shots, of course it depends whos using it

John,I have the 5600 and i think it`s a great little camera,The 5700 is a upgraded version of the 5600 so should be good.
