This week a well known day ticket stretch in Yorkshire has been syndicated, whilst there is still plenty of club water and day ticket stretches I would be gutted if my favourite stretch became out of bounds due to a syndicate moving in.
There are a few small syndicates / clubs in Yorkshire where the waiting lists are long/dead mans shoes types. Given the increasing popularity of Barbel fishing now how does everyone see it going in the future, especially in their area?
Does anybody think that the demand for Barbel fishing has peaked or will grow? A
My own personal opinion is that the sport will grow to some extent yet then peak in few years time, and that we are maybe 5 years behind the carp fishing scene - but I may be wrong.
I wish everybody good luck in the new season!
