if you are fishing pva bags
do u use mixed sizes of pellets crushed or left whole? and what type of pellets do u use? high oil' csl regards dave

Mixed sizes, broken ones and different types (high oil, low oil) in the hope that they won't key onto any particular size, shape as being dangerous.

you can also soak your bags in oil based glug.
stick mix with scalded pellet and broken boilies and pellets,in summer i feed low oil pellets and fish with a high oil jobby. dave.

i might try some of those spicy chicken boilies broken up with some micro and 4mm pellets

A quick tip; lick or wet the bottom of the bag before casting out. Due to flow, bags and mesh bags have tendency to break off bounce away down stream before breakink up. Licking the bottom seems to result in the contents staying around the hook bait.
