Been down to the teme on monday, and with its steap banks, and water was half way up them,i had a bit of trouble finding decent swims, the current was pushing through the middle at running pace, the only water that seemed fishable was in the margins were the water in places was quiet slack.
Becouse the river was so high,i found myself fishing the banks, with its snags and all,my question is is this worth the time,or is it better to try to find the rivers edge, and ignore the banks as it were ???
I could have put a 4/5 oz lead on and hit the crease but the slacks looked a good idea.
any thoughts on this matter............
