        <![CDATA[ I'm a bit confused about frozen boilies, on the one hand in the John Baker book, he says don't ever re-freeze your baits but on the other, I hear from carp anglers and have read in a book recently that it's fine to re-freeze them. Now I've never received frozen bait through the post that has arrived any where near frozen, but I only ever defrost what I need for the day and then I chuck them out after that, but only because of what I have read in the JB book, so I've ended up wasting a lot of... ]]>

sean,i could not agree with you more there are far too many anglers that lob the rest of there bait in at the end of a session,in a heavily populated stretch this might be ok but on the ouse it can be the kiss of death especially in the winter,but what we were originally chatting about was type of bait and not the amount.<br>... ]]></description>

I fish the Bristol Avon which is quite heavily fished already....<br>
<br>
With the tons of pellets and boillies that have caused the fish to grow to huge proportions. All we need now is for people to throw even more bait in to feed the already fat fish. Just imagine what it would be like to find the fish hungry for a change...<br>

Take it home with you as there is enough high quality bait in the water already.... Remember these fish have evolved for... ]]></description>

The baits i have been using the past year or so are very soft which only have natural goodies inside and no flavourings either,i have past a few onto other anglers and they have had instant results (for the ouse anyway).<br>

more cost effective to make and distribute shelf lifes, also the tackle shops find it easier to store them and stock control them,<br>

Hi john,next time you make a bacon sandwich on the bank check out how many preservatives you are putting inside you,just the additives in bread will make you faint.<br>

I used to make my own bread untill the other half discovered me adding ground hemp in the dough mix for the roach,needless to say i have a life ban on using any machines  in the kitchen now!<br>

I generally don't re-freeze boilies more than a couple of times. Fresh boilies do have a rather better colour and smell. So I'm more confident on fresh bait.<br>

But paste, I think, cannot be effectively re-frozen. It is very noticeable that get a lot more bites on fresh paste than re-frozen - especially if it's been a warm day and the paste has, shall we say, &quot;matured&quot;. If the paste has only been out of the freezer for a few hours on a short evening session I do sometimes... ]]></description>
