as regards other baits,doesnt take much to work out what i ment.nowerdays it seem to be a rule of thumb,to either use a pellit or boilie,and if you dont get a bite there not feeding.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Its funny but generally we only use odd or new baits when the old favourites have failed. Its like lure fishing for pike used to be - failed on deads or lives so you put your Woolworths spinner on, caught nowt and concluded lure fishing was sh*te!<br>
So I rarely bother with different baits now - I present an old favourite better (or smaller) when the going gets tough - unless I've established a new bait with a baiting campaign. However - I did catch a barbel on the Dordogne on bacon... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I've used Frolics,in the summer before.And caught well on them.I recently,bought some 5 kilo bags,to keep.<br>
They are getting hard to get in supermarkets now.<br>

A good breakdown time,they seem to &quot;fizz&quot; on the bottom,leaking flavour ect.<br>
