For warmth on cold dry days try a ESP windproof/waterproof fleece, I've worn mine in the winter with just a couple of T-shirts underneath ! AND it will stand a fair bit of rain before it starts to leak a bit !

Bought an Igloo 3 a couple of years ago on a blazing hot June day and decided to try it on in the shop - big mistake - by the time I got it off i'd nearly fainted from the heat! It definately `does what it says on the tin'..
One thing about this suit is the strange sizing.. I'm normally medium but had to buy a large.. If buying mail order i'd recommend `going up a size'..
