I think the bend is caused by only opening the front legs, and keeping the back legs closed which suits a steeper bank position- I seem to use mine like this more often than not. My old fox chair suffered from this bend- must take more care with the new one- looks much stirdier tho- cant see lil' ole me bending the bars- but if your a fat ole carper then go for JRC 18 leg bedchair<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif...

I also have the nomad chair like my good mate ijakk but theres one problem with the so called pouch in the back its a zipped top that wont shut due to the strap, and its a velcro bottom that has a tendency to open if you stuff to much !!!!! in it..so beware !!
Apart from that its a fine bit of kit !!

The Chub Rover has 2 pockets, one large zipped, and a mesh pocket as well, the problem is that is is very low to the ground, I took the cover off the frame, fitted it to an aluminium lightweight picnic chair,(replacing the Gaudy material,) one or two minor adjustments, and now I have a well padded seat, the right height, with pockets, and about 1lb lighter than anything else available.

I've got an old JRC Classic chair, I think they now call it the "Terry Hearn". Anyway it's lighter than most of it's competitors, which is why I bought it, and when carried by hand there is a large "pocket" behind the back support which easily holds my scales, camera, water bottle and towel......and I can also fit in a gore-tex cagoule if I think it necessary. Worth considering.

It is only a small pocket, not a huge use, but the chair itself has velcro straps to keep it closed during transit so in effect the chair its self becomes a carrying device of sorts. Does that make any sense?
I got mine recently and it truly is a great bit of kit.

Think the Nash Nomad is one if not the only one with a pocket. Also has a strap for carrying and many recommend it highly. If it wasn't for the fact my old JRC chair is still going strong i'd probably have one myself. They look a great bit of kit.
