Hi

I am after a pair of good, waterproof socks and i remember someone saying that the Gore-tex ones were pretty good.

Just a couple of questions, is there a particular model that i should be going for as there seem to be a few different types.

Here is one of them.

With respect....

If I get a run at night the last thing I want to be doing is scrabbling around trying to get my boots on when there is a fish on, and taking line. Therefore I bought a couple of pairs of the green army gore tex boot liner things and I just put a pair of them on when I get in the bag at night. I still have a two pais of the original ones from around 14 years ago and they have only recently given up the ghost. The newer ones are much better though - a much better fit and more elastic.
I've tried liners and never found them comfortable I prefer a good pair of trekking socks and a resonable pair of boots personally I don't prescribe to £100 plus boots being worth the money, although there is no doubt that a good pair of boots will last a long time but so will a...
