Hi ,

I am looking for a decent pair of boots that are comfortable (i tend to do a lot of walking) and waterproof and after reading a post by Longgone (thanks Bob ) i realised that the Berghaus boots could be the way to go. The reasons being such things as being Gore-tex lined making them appeal to me.

The ones i have been looking at are the Raid GTX, the Explorer IV GTX and the GR20 Leather wide fitting GTX's.

Does anybody have a pair and what ''model'' would you reccomend?

Any help...

Goretex also benefits from being washed and having a new DWR finish applied. The NikWax machine wash treatments are the best I've encountered but make sure you've flushed...
