I seem to remember Chris Yates writing about catching barbel on a jelly baby. I guess it could work...how about melting them down and using them as a little additive..? Possibilities are endless

I first heard 20 odd years ago, tried it and yes it works. Also found garlic on luncheon meat worked just as well.

For me last summer I made a little discovery. We was round a friends house whos garden backs onto a nice stretch of the Kennet (good barbel area infact) and after a gathering of 20 odd people at the barbeque had left we decided to do abit of night fishing.
