			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ll be visiting relatives in Brockenhurst this summer and would love to fish the Avon. If anyone could spare the time to recommend day-ticket stretches
that would be worth fishing (Barbel would be my main target) it would be much appreciated. It would be for one day only, so my chances would be pretty slim,
but you&#39;ve got to give it a go if you get the opportunity!

Seriously though, there are quite a few terrapins in the rivers. There was a big bugger on a stretch of the Stour I used to fish. Even in the depths of winter
it would occasionally pop up in front of you whilst fishing. They can get quite big, the one on the stour being the size of a dinner plate the last time I saw
it.

Managed to get a mile and a half exclusive fishing on the w.avon next season(2 of us)prob not bother with VAC,last club who leased it ##++++ the farmer off
