This week it was revealed that British Airside workers are subject to stringent CRB checks(quite rightly IMO) but foreign born workers are not,because it takes too long(what's the rush?) and is a bit complicated.

CSCS is a certficate of competence,....basically a certificate giving your qualifications..also to show you understand certain health and safety issues..

It`s not a legal requirement though,...although many major housebuilders etc. ask for it before entering site..

It`s the same old story,..if it suits them they`ll ask for it,...if they are short on labour they will turn a blind eye...
