<![CDATA[ Hi

I am camping at Pevensey at the end of May and was told you can catch mackerel fom the beach. I was hoping someone on here could give me some tips as I have
only ever sea fished the UK from a boat in the channel once before.

I intend using a 2.75 carp rod, 12 lb (possibly 15lb) line with 3-4oz breakaway leads and some bait or feathers, and probably a paternoster type set up, but
while I can see jigging feathers working from a boat, wasn't sure what was the thing to try from the... ]]>

chucking lures, and a lot cheaper. The frozen ammo eels work, live ones are better, if you can get them.
