May be due to the very low pressure front that caused all the damage down south.
River was dropping all day and conditions looked perfect.
That's it now for me until the start of the new season--June 16th seems a very long way away.image

Also blowing a real gale.
Managed to find a decent swim where it was a bit sheltered,and fished meat all day. Caught a 2lb brownie!! and a 3lb chub. Only two bites I had all day.
River dropped quite a bit as the day progressed,by about 5 feet,temp was about 10c.
