Both strecthes hold some ovely barbel and I's suggest that on the Royalty, pick a swim and fish where your gut instinct tells you to, you'll be
surprised how many day ticket anglers catch well by fishing areas that possibly the regulars tend to not always fish. The Royalty fish regularly fall to meat

Hi

Fortunately, it's quite easy to find. BH22 9AN is the postcode for the local pub (by the river). It's on the A348 Ringwood Road.

I don't know how it's fishing. Can anyone help?

If you're driving that far it may be worth a trip to Throop? An extra £10 but maybe worth it?

This week has seen some very big chub appearing up and down Beat 2 of Throop. Best to my knowledge being a fine specimen at 7lb 14oz (well done to the captor).
The river is looking spot on for chub but unfortunately the barbel haven't really started to show but the signs are increasing there with the water
temperature rising to 46 degrees F yesterday and some warmer south westerly winds around at the moment.
