Stella,
It is ok to drive right down to the rough track and park at the bottom. There is a Boston Spa Angling club sign there. It is 1 min walk to the river from
there, turn right when you get to the river then you have 15-20 mins walk downstream to the island. The stretch finishes just past the island where a beck
comes into the river.
On the opposite bank is the upper limit of Easdyke on the leeds book.

Not today mate, although I will probably go for a run later this week weather permitting.

Regarding Sheephills are the same syndicate still running it? It is my understanding that they were on a rolling 6 month contract. The stretch is mainly a
summer one as well so I don't know if they were going to keep going through the winter.

think there are fifteen members to the stretch now and it has made it alot better for the anglers on the other bank . Just like to say to the syndicate lads

that they are doing a great job of looking after possibly(in my mind) the best barbel stretch in Yorkshire. i fish the opposite bank.

The stretch above sheephills is leeds, there are some good pegs up there but everybody knows em! it fishes best with about 3 foot of water in

Matt I fished Linton quite a bit last season, mainly due to the fact it's my closest stretch..It does not hold a large head of barbel as compared to Boston
spa or NK..But it's a challenge & on a good day a couple of fish are possible. It does get a fair bit of angling pressure due to it's close
proximity to Leeds.

Matt,
To join Boston Spa you need to live witghin 3 miles of the village post office. If not don't worry they operate a waiting list which currently stands about
15 years. Failing that you could always buy a day ticket which covers you for one bank for £3.50.
You can get day tickets for Newton Kyme for £3 which covers about 3 miles downstream of Boston.
The Leeds club have two stretches Easdyke and Linton.
