Going back to Longfield, the beauty of the fishing there is that it is still a mystery, it has thrown up some very good fish in the past and will not doubt do
so in the future and in beautiful surroundings, even if it&#39;s slightly hard going at times - I believe it can only get better (I&#39;ve said too much now!!)

			<description><![CDATA[ Trundled a certain weir last season Ray Walton style on 2 seperated days when I had the whole place to myself, using plasticine on the line and a lump of Spam
(go on, sue me), not the same lump of course, of spam or plasticine.

And that&#39;s the point; plasticine is great in snags.

I think I got caught on a snag once or twice over both the days, and didn&#39;t even loose the hooks, which came back bent. Being a member of both banks, I

and pace and cholcolate colour just didn&#39;t make me feel good when I usually welcome floods.

<p>This is Longfield at dawn in May.  The club did stock it with carp a couple of years back but I guess they just swam away when it flooded as is their want. 
Still a head of carp there but question whether they are worth targeting.
