Just had a look at Shawes arms, now about 4 feet up so it's dropped 2-3 feet overnight. Could be worth a look later, as I think it will only be a couple of feet up by tea time if it isn't throwing it down further upstream.
Good luck!

Hi guys. Had a look at Shawes Arms at 5pm and you can't see the wall on the Walton Le Dale/Bridge Inn side, so I reckon it's over 6 feet up. It's racing through so I don't think the tide is in. All in all we need it to not rain tonight for it to be OK tomorrow. If I get chance to look tomorrow morning I'll post the levels. The good news is that all the weed will be cleared and it should fish it's rocks off next week!!

Good luck to you all this season.

There WAS rain forecast for next friday, but after checking again tonight, it seems that the rain will not be anywhere near as heavy, and unlikely to affect levels.

I wont be out next weekend, for 2 reasons:-

Im away on a racing trip in York next Friday night, and...

I think it will be a struggle

Gonna leave it to evening fishing the following week for a few short sessions after work
