Ray was telling me he fished the stretch on a day ticket, can't remember where from though.

Post the number mate, that way anyone wanting to fish it will know then.

My mate had 2 pike around 12lb. No sign of barbel downstream, but they were visable upstream of the bridge in a shoal of about 6 fish to 8lb'ish.

Went for a wander along a couple of stretches this morning. The hole in the wall stretch, or at least the top end of it, if I'm correct which lays behind lyndor wood. This looks over the Ebbw vale bank, but has very steep banks with only one or two areas where its possible to get down to the river and fish safely, without needing a drop net, although, I may have been a bit too far up the stretch. Anyone fished it? Ray or Flooky perhaps? Anyone been out wandering alongs the banks? Silk and me went to a stretch new to us last week, and it looked very promising. No barbel seen, but the signs were there. Shame you couldn't make it ray!!

Theres a couple of other stretches that I fancy having a look at too, if any of you bibs bashers are up for it.

This is my first summer back in the UK since returning
from living abroad, therefore Ive had a long lay off
