Glycerine is made from animal fat? Which of course is oil based, kind of.

Yonks ago we used to use the stuff to emulsify oil based flavours in baits. Thinking back its a pretty daft idea seeing as the baits were boiled senseless anyway.

However, the emulsification of say fish oils in pellets, glugs etc makes sense if you require said "slick" to remain sinking as opposed to floating upwards and gone in the blink of an eye like oil does?

But doesnt glycerine emulsify oil? Just a quick shake does the trick?

After 5 mins the end I spat on was well melted but the end I put the glycerine on was pretty much unaffected.

Now, I have PVA but no glycerine.

Being an inquisitive sort of chap if I had some glycerine I would likely put a bit onto some PVA to see what happens and report it here :D :D
