The extra few quid for the Epix Pro is well worth spending. I use the 30 size for roving and the 40 size for heavy lead and feeder work. Excellent!

Really good value I have four, three bought and one for free.

They balance my barbel rods really well, holding approx 90 yards of 12lb line. My typical swims mean you don't need to cast far and hence they are ideal. Can still cast 60 yards if needed.

Perfect operation so far (two yuears) although I had a slight issue with the return bail arm spring of one of them, the mail order shop didn't want it back and just sent me another. I still use the 'faulty' one as the problem...

I've got an EPB30, the Epix Pro baitfeeder and not had any probs so far. Drag seems to be reasonably smooth. Not used the baitfeeder much, but not had any probs with it sticking.
