Thought I'd ask for some advice on a waistcoat for roving/rolling.

I know you can buy fly vest/fishing waistcoats and outdoor gilet type tops.

I'm interested to know what people use, especially for the roving/rolling approach. I went to look on Ray's site, but it still wouldn't load.

I think my main criteria are:
1) Good storage and function
2) Nothing too garish for colour
3) Probably waterproof breathable, so it would function with layers.

Any ideas?

The Webtex one I reviewed is still going strong, but there are lighter in terms of weight and capacity.
If you are looking for alternatives then there are quite a few out there.

There are also loads of webbing options where you can add pouches to a main belt - maybe giving you a belt to suit your particular needs.

The SA Viper vest (I have one brand new) in plain green gives an intermediate option. At between 25 to £30 it's also a cheaper option than the Webtex...
