just wondering what reels lines you have been using this season and wot are its good and bad points. I have been using the fox soft steel camo line this season. tuff as old boots, good knoting properties and blends in well , but it goes realy curly when you use it    ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ Shimano Technium in 10lb and 15lb, Daiwa Infinty Duo in 14lb. Prefer the Shimano but it is a little pricey. Acts more like a braid than a mono.<br>
Just loaded my new reels with Fox Submerge Braid, Looks good so far. Very costly tho at £65 for 500m.<div class='signature'>Opener of worm cans and surveyor of the moral high ground.<br>
Alcohol and calculus don't mix. Never drink and derive.</div> ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Daiwa Infinity Duo, it pains me to say(because they're my favourite brand) that it weakens quite quickly, especially its knot strength. So I'll be finding a different mono after Christmas. <br>
Been using Berkley Whiplash on my braid spools, just lately and love it. ]]></description>

Used to use Sensor Brown - cheap as chips and reliable. Still have it carp and chub rods.<br>
When I decided I needed to use a clear line for Barbel,<br>
  I did not like the Sensor Clear so BGC.<br>
Yes it is thick for stated BS, but the 12lb stated is nearer to 18lb.<br>
Tough as old boots and just what I need to hauling in sunken yorkshire snags.<div class='signature'>-- Dr Barbus<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ 12lb Sensor Brown for me. All the other lines mentioned tend to have one good selling point, which is great if that is exactly the virtue of the line you are looking for.<br>
<br>
Sensor Brown seems to me to be reasonably good at everything wihtout having one outstanding point. This means that I can have a good compromise no matter where I go, and I don't have to load up all sorts of different spools to cater for a specific venue. Daiwa Duo for instance: nice and thin for breaking strain,... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ 12lb X line flurocarbon for me, invisible and sinks like a stone, not much stretch so good for tough ledgering. Great stuff.<br>

Switched to Krystonite (12lb), now spooling up with BGC.<br>

The Krystonite, does not like the twig infested yorkshire rivers.<br>
It has had tendency to loop over rod tips, curl and become rough (coating gone) even when fresh.<br>
Have gone through the entire spool in three months, through jettisoning... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have recently received a catelogue from the Tackle box and read with interest the line ratings chart.<br>
<br>
I was surprised at some of the findings for the line I use/have used.  In principle the chart is a great idea, but guess you should do your own tests on the line you have, just to cover things off (dodgy spools etc) so there are no surprises.<br>
<br>
However, I do find it strange that lines rated at one BS, then breaks at other weights, surely the manufacturers know this so what... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ bass pro is good stuff, ive been lucky enough to get some whilst having 'vacations' in the us of a. used it in 6lb green, 8lb green, 12lb green, and 8 and 10lb clear. never had any problems on the whole.<br>

got 10lb gr60 clear on my barbel reel at the mo... little bit less twisty than basspro but when using feeders, inline leads and good old faithful leadcore, its prone to a bit of twisty anyway, so remove 15yards and your all set again.<br>
